Chello Central Europe Rebrands Two Movie Channels

BUDAPEST: Chello Central Europe’s Filmmuzeum is being rebranded as Film Mania, while its Zone Romantica channel becomes Film Café.

The new look for both will be unveiled on July 2, with new logos as well. Film Mania offers movies primarily from the 1990s and the 2000s. Film Café, which targets women, offers romantic movies, human interest stories, dramas, comedies and family entertainment. Both channels will premiere 60 new films in the month of July. The two are available on the major platforms in Hungary, including UPC, Magyar Telekom, Digi, Invitel, Tarr and PR Telecom.

Levente Málnay, the CEO of Chello Central Europe, said: “The new brands will effectively reflect the heritage of the two channels that is engaging and innovative. Film Mania will feature movies from Hollywood and the biggest studios in the world while retaining the values of Filmmuzeum. Film Café will continue offering high-quality female-focused entertainment and relaxation.
