CBS Studios International & ProSiebenSat.1 Extend Output Deal

MUNICH: The existing output agreement between the ProSiebenSat.1 Group and CBS Studios International has been extended through a multi-year contract renewal.

The German outfit holds on to the exclusive rights it has regarding new U.S. series CBS produces over the next few years. The rights cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland. ProSiebenSat.1 also scored the VOD rights. CBS Studios International’s NCIS, NCIS: L.A. and Hawaii 5-0, among other titles, have been running for several seasons on ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s German stations.

Thomas Ebeling, the CEO of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, said: "CBS has been our partner for top U.S. series for 15 years. Our most successful long-term shows include many CBS series. We are delighted to continue our good work together in the years to come."
