Canal+ Scores Disney Titles for SVOD Service

PARIS: More than 100 titles from the Disney library, including movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, are headed to the Canal+ subscription-based VOD service Canalplay Infinity.

The new SVOD service is available on DSL nets provided by key French operators such as SFR, Free and Bouygues Telecom. Next week Canalplay Infinity expands to PCs and tablets. Through the deal with The Walt Disney Company, the service now includes movies such as Air Force One and National Treasure, alongside TV shows such as Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.
