BBC HD Secures Further Carriage in Poland

LONDON: The international BBC HD channel is set to launch on Cyfrowy Polsat in Poland on February 1.

Under the agreement, BBC HD will be available to all subscribers of the DTH platform’s extended basic tier, Extra HD. BBC HD features British and international high-definition content with a lineup of award-winning documentaries, entertainment and arts programming. Factual content to be offered on the channel include Wonders of the Solar System and How Earth Made Us, a look at how the natural forces of our planet have shaped human civilization. The channel also features series from the BBC Natural History Unit, including Life and Nature’s Great Events, as well as dramas such as Sherlock. BBC HD is also available in Poland via Cyfra+, n, TPSA and UPC Polska platforms.
