LONDON: Channel 4 has slated the hour-long special Rude Tube’s Epic Christmas to run on Christmas day, following the success of Rude Tube season five.

Channel 4 commissioned October Films to produce the special, which is hosted by Alex Zane, who presents the 50 greatest online Christmas clips featuring bad Santas, mad dogs, extreme carol singers and the world’s fastest Christmas tree. Rude Tube’s Epic Christmas will be produced by Daniel Riley and executive produced by Adam Bullmore for October Films.

Adam Bullmore, the creative director at October Films, said, “Rude Tube has consistently proven a hit with viewers since it launched in 2008; its modern twist on the clip compilation genre and its cheeky, laugh-out-loud humor has really resonated both with Channel 4’s audience and viewers across the globe. We’ve had great fun selecting the best festival faux pas to create an hour of essential Christmas day viewing for one and all.”
