ZDFE Takes Stake in REAL FILM Berlin

ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) is acquiring a 49 percent stake in REAL FILM Berlin, a subsidiary of the Studio Hamburg Production Group.

The production portfolio includes the ARD event movie 3 ½ Hours, Netflix series Unorthodox and the ZDF crime series Against Angst and Colleagues. Further productions include rbb’s Tatort and Polizeiruf: 110, the ARD Degeto series Doctor’s Office with Sea View, SOKO Wismar and Auckland Detectives for ZDF.

The acquisition is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.
