ZDFE Inks New Deals for Bella Germania

ZDF Enterprises has secured sales for the three-part drama series Bella Germania with broadcasters across Europe.

A German-Italian story spanning three generations of a family, Bella Germania tells a tale of love, passion, family secrets and revenge that begins when a young Italian fashion designer meets an elderly German who introduces himself as her grandfather and claims that her real father is still alive. It has been licensed by public broadcasters Rai (Italy), RTVS (Slovakia), LTV (Latvia), TVP (Poland) and RTVE (Spain).

Other deals for the series were inked with national broadcasters Inter (Ukraine) and Network 4 (Hungary), as well as with Russian Report TV Agency, which will distribute it across Russia and CIS.

Bella Germania is a ZDF/ZDF Enterprises co-production that was produced by Bavaria Fiction. It was created by Daniel Speck and directed by Gregor Schnitzier.
