ZDF Enterprises Takes Distribution Rights to Voltaire in Love

Voltaire in Love, a new four-part drama, will be distributed globally by ZDF Enterprises, excluding French-speaking territories in Europe.

Currently in postproduction, Voltaire in Love explores the early life and evolution of one of the world’s greatest philosophers. Commissioned by France Télévisions, it will also be seen on the new French streaming platform SALTO.

Produced by Georges-Marc Benamou (The Last Mitterand, The Ghost of Munich), from Siècle Productions, Voltaire in Love is a co-production with Umédia, Wallimage, RTBF and Pictanovo. Alain Tasma is the director and shares the writing credit for Voltaire in Love with Benamou and Henri Helman. Thomas Soliveres (Intouchables, Cyrano, My Love), Thibault de Montalembert ( The King, Call My Agent), Valerie Bonneton (Les Petits Mouchoirs) and Victor Meutelet (The Bonfire of Destiny) star.
