ZDFE’s Sherlock: The Russian Chronicles Set for World Screen Premiere

ZDF Enterprises’ action drama Sherlock: The Russian Chronicles is slated for a World Screen Premiere on June 30 at 9 a.m. ET.

The action drama Sherlock: The Russian Chronicles gives a Russian spin to the stories of the world’s most famous investigator. The story unfolds as Sherlock Holmes attempts to track down Jack the Ripper, who has fled to St. Petersburg in 1889. To help him navigate this unfamiliar country, Mr. Holmes is joined by Dr. Kartsev and Sophia, who help Holmes solve a series of mysterious crimes, while facing conflict and interference from a local police chief, Znamensky.

Along with the premiere is an insightful panel discussion, hosted by Anna Carugati, group editorial director of World Screen, with Daria Bondarenko, executive VP of sales and acquisitions for START and Yellow, Black and White; Nurbek Egen, director; and Irina Sosnovaya, producer at Yellow, Black and White.
