Yellow Bird UK Expands Development Team

Yellow Bird UK, part of Banijay UK, has made three new appointments to its development team, including tapping Sally Rowberry as development producer.

Rowberry will work across the label’s slate on both development and production. Previously, she was a development executive at Red Arrow Studios and a freelance development consultant for Ringside Studios and Silver Salt Films.

While at Red Arrow Studios, Rowberry worked on the first and second seasons of Endour Production’s Vienna Blood and is credited as associate producer for season two.

Nimai Inniss has been tapped as development executive. He joins from Heyday Television, where he was development assistant, in which he supported the development of Heyday’s slate, generating ideas for new projects and scouting for new material and voices. After assisting in the 24-week writers’ room for If, Then (Apple TV), he was assistant script editor on season two of the BBC One/Peacock production The Capture.

Yellow Bird UK has also hired Seamus Duff, who joins as development assistant. He previously worked in TV and film production on projects such as Bodyguard (BBC), Afterlife (Netflix) and Danny Boy (BBC), as well as the feature films The Roads Not Taken and Blackbird. He was part of the production team of the Yellow Bird UK and Netflix crime drama series Young Wallander.

Berna Levin, managing director of Yellow Bird UK, said, “Our new appointments come with a wealth of experience and brilliant creative thinking, and I’m looking forward to joining forces with them as we expand our slate and find even more incredible ideas to bring to screens across the globe.”
