World Screen Expands Drama Coverage

NEW YORK: Expanding its suite of services exclusively focused on the business of drama production and distribution, World Screen is launching TV Drama Daily in 2016.

A new online newsletter, TV Drama Daily will provide the latest updates on the international drama business, including news about commissions, sales deals, production and casting announcements and more. TV Drama Daily will be sent out to some 25,000 executives every weekday.

World Screen will also begin delivering breaking news alerts focused on the drama business in 2016.

These new services complement the TV Drama print and digital publication, the TV Drama Guide, TV Drama Weekly and TVDrama.ws, all delivering essential information on this key segment of the content business.

“The business of drama is becoming more complicated every day, as new players—commissioners, buyers, producers, financiers and distributors—look to capitalize on this ever-popular genre,” says Mansha Daswani, editor and associate publisher of World Screen. “Against this backdrop, having immediate access to all the latest developments in the making and selling of drama is crucial. With TV Drama Daily and our new TV Drama Breaking News alerts, we’ll be able to better serve all those involved in making scripted content for the global market. These new services round out what is already the best portfolio of sources for executives in the drama business, with TV Drama, TVDrama.ws, TV Drama Weekly and the TV Drama Guide.”
