ITV Studios’ Windlight Pictures has begun filming the six-part series Hundertdreizehn for ARD and ORF.

The project centers on six people whose lives are connected by a catastrophic traffic accident in which a coach bus veers into the opposite lane of an inner-city, multi-lane elevated highway. The story is told through multiple perspectives, exploring how people’s lives can be impacted and forever changed by a single second.

The series follows a trio of investigators as they search for the cause of the accident and the fate of the relatives of the bus driver. Each episode also focuses on the personal story of a different person who was affected by the accident. This provides a multi-perspective view of the bus crash and its far-reaching consequences.

The cast includes Lia von Blarer, Robert Stadlober, David Hugo Schmitz, Anna Schudt, Patricia Aulitzky, Felix Kramer, Armin Rohde, Friederike Becht, Max von der Groeben, Vladimir Korneev, Cornelius Obonya, Antonia Moretti and more.

Hundertdreizehn is being directed by Rick Ostermann (Der Gejagte, Das Boot, Fremder Feind), based on a screenplay by Arndt Stüwe (Im Abgrund, You are wanted, Wenn das letzte Lichtlein brennt).

The series is a Windlight Pictures production, with Satel Film co-producing. It was commissioned by WRD and ARD Degeto Film for ARD and ORF. It is produced in association with and distributed by ITV Studios.

Hundertdreizehn is expected to broadcast in the fall of 2025.
