When Hope Calls Returning on Great American Family

The second season of When Hope Calls is slated to premiere on Pure Flix on April 3 and on Great American Family on April 6.

The drama, inspired by Janette Oke’s Canadian West novels, centers on two orphaned sisters who reunite as adults and open an orphanage in a small town. The series first aired in 2019 and was canceled after one season before Great American Family acquired it.

In the first episode of season two, an out-of-town lawyer arrives, led by an unexpected family connection. Sam returns from prospecting for gold and meets Maggie’s parents. Lillian receives a letter from Mountie Gabriel telling her how much he loves, and she is torn between her long-distance love and her ongoing duty to the orphanage. Hannah Lawrence inherits the ranch of her late uncle and, with the help of Wyatt, tries to keep it.

The drama stars Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, RJ Hatanaka, Jon McLaren, Hanneke Talbot, Morgan Kohan, Sarah Fisher, Nick Bateman and Wendy Crewson, among many others.
