Viu, in partnership with ABS-CBN, has slated the premiere of the Filipino adaptation of the K-drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim for March 18.

The series tells the story of a self-absorbed vice-chairman and his loyal, indispensable secretary, whose decision to resign triggers unexpected developments in their professional and personal lives. The Filipino iteration, produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, stars Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu.

Based on a popular webtoon, the Korean drama originally aired on CJ ENM’s K-content channel tvN in 2018 and was produced by Studio Dragon.

“We’re excited to advance our collaboration with Viu on the What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim remake,” said Sebastian Kim, director of international content sales at CJ ENM. “Our aim is to charm Filipino audiences with a version that’s both true to the original and resonant with local culture, enhancing the story’s inherent appeal and essence.”
