Viaplay Lines Up Psychological Thriller Veronika

Veronika, a psychological thriller with supernatural elements, is set to premiere exclusively on Viaplay in late 2023.

Alexandra Rapaport (Honour, Little Did I Know) and Tobias Santelmann (Those Who Kill, Point Break) headline the cast. Rapaport will play Veronika Gren, an introverted police officer and mother of two with a complex past and a tablet addiction.

Rapaport said: “I got my hands on this project more than five years ago, and I’ve been sold on it ever since. It’s a great script with a tone all of its own, and I’m grateful that Viaplay has seen the same thing. I’m so excited that my whole body is tingling.”

The eight-part series is created and scripted by Katja Juras and Anna Lindblom (Gåsmamman) and helmed by director Jonas Alexander Arnby (War of the Worlds).
