About Premium Content (APC) has inked a new broadcast deal for the drama series Valkyrien, which is now headed to SBS Australia.

Valkyrien will air in Australia later this year following the U.K. launch of the series on Channel 4 in June. This will be followed closely by a debut on Walter Presents in the U.K. The series has already aired on Walter Presents in the U.S. to critical acclaim.

APC has invested in and holds all global distribution rights for the eight-hour high-concept original series, which is produced by the Norwegian indie Tordenfilm for NRK and is written by showrunner Erik Richter Strand.

Emmanuelle Guilbart, joint CEO and co-founder at APC, said: “Valkyrien is already proving to be a hit in Norway and we are thrilled with the latest award wins. We are confident that the series will win legions of fans once it starts to roll out globally.”
