Universal Television’s Erin Underhill Boards TV Drama Festival

Erin Underhill, president of Universal Television, is lined up for a keynote during the TV Drama Festival, taking place October 3 to 5. You can register here for free.

As president of Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group (USG), Underhill oversees all aspects—creative affairs, casting, production and more. With Underhill at the helm, Universal Television currently produces more than 40 prime-time comedies and dramas for a variety of broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Acclaimed series produced by Universal Television include Dick Wolf’s successful Law & Order, One Chicago and FBI-branded series, Hacks, Never Have I Ever, The Equalizer, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, Quantum Leap, Girls5eva, Schmigadoon!, Bupkis, Harlem and Bel-Air.

 The second edition of the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free. World Screen’s festivals have an average of 1,700 registered participants and approximately 18,000 views.
