SYDNEY: Mam Tor Productions will serve as the British production house for The Art of Killing, a psychological thriller from Aussie outfit Escapade Media.

U.K. writers Paul Duane and Rob Cawley and Australian writer Sarah Smith signed on to script the new drama series. The 6×1-hour production will be adapted from the Random House novel A Dark Place To Die by Ed Chatterton.

Natalie Lawley, the managing director of Escapade Media, said: “In the growing world of international co-productions, it’s imperative to have a producer who can drive the project to distinction, especially in face of the strong competition. Tally’s work is proof of this and is a perfect fit for this project.”

Tally Garner, founder of Mam Tor Productions, added, “Natalie has a truly global outlook. Her knowledge of the international market and impeccable taste make for a very exciting combination.”
