A range of new broadcast deals have been signed for Showtime’s highly anticipated Twin Peaks limited event series, which is headed to Sky in Germany and Austria as well as HBO Europe across Central Europe.

Twin Peaks will debut with a two-hour premiere on May 22 exclusively on HBO Europe across Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 18-part limited event will also air in its entirety exclusively on Sky in Germany and Austria. Also, TV-3 licensed the free-to-air rights in Russia, where the episodes will air 24 hours after the U.S. premiere, while Amedia TV landed the Russian pay-TV rights.

From the original series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost and executive producer Sabrina S. Sutherland, the series is directed entirely by Lynch. CBS Studios International (CBSSI) locked in the new agreements.

Additionally, Amedia TV and CBSSI entered a wider multiplatform licensing agreement to broadcast programming produced by CBS and Showtime. In addition to the new Twin Peaks, the pact includes The Good Fight, the premiere of I’m Dying Up Here and series such as Californication (seasons one through seven), The Borgias (seasons one through three) and Dexter (seasons one through five).
