TV Drama Festival Adds Banijay’s Lars Blomgren, Kudos’ Karen Wilson

Lars Blomgren, head of scripted at Banijay, and Karen Wilson, managing director of Kudos, will take part in a joint session during the TV Drama Festival, which will be held on June 28 and 29. You can register for free here. 

Blomgren leads Banijay’s network of award-winning scripted producers around the world. With over 50 scripted labels producing high-end content for the local and international market, Blomgren is charged with enhancing the premium offering through increased collaboration, shared investment and opportunities for talent across the footprint. Wilson joined Kudos in 2001 to script edit Spooks seasons one and two and Hustle, and then went on to produce Hustle season two. She then became an executive producer, working on series such as Scars, Holby Blue, The Doctor Who Hears Voices, Utopia and The Tunnel. In March 2019, Wilson was appointed as joint managing director.

The TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free.
