Turkish Drama Magnificent Century Entering the Metaverse

Magnificent Century, a Turkish drama produced by TIMS Productions’ founder Timur Savcı, will be entering the metaverse with The Sandbox, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands.

The Sandbox metaverse will feature venues from the series and avatars based on its characters, both becoming available in Q4 this year. The experience will be highly interactive for fans.

While the players are to build gaming experiences on the Ethereum blockchain using the platform’s main token SAND through The Sandbox, they will own in-game assets and can generate income from these assets. Also, players with VoxEdit may generate Voxel-based 3D NFTS that can be used in-game, while trading these in The Sandbox’s NFT marketplace.

Until the metaverse release, The Sandbox and Magnificent Century have plans for NFT and avatar collections. Fans will be able to customize their avatars with items from their favorite characters.
