Eccho Rights has landed a number of new agreements for the daily drama Elif across the LatAm market.

The Turkish series made its Latin American debut in Colombia on Caracol in summer 2016. It launched on Telefe in Argentina in August 2017 and has been winning its slot each day. WAPA America has now signed up for the series for the U.S. Hispanic market, while broadcasters in Puerto Rico (Telemundo), Paraguay (Telefuturo), Peru (Latina) and Chile (TVN), as well as Caracol and Telefe, have renewed the show for additional seasons.

Elif continues to top ratings charts around the world, and now in its fourth season in Turkey, shows no signs of slowing down,” said Fredrik af Malmborg, the managing director at Eccho Rights

“The results speak for themselves and buyers are queuing up each time we meet to get more of the same,” added Laura Minarro, acting head of sales for LatAm at the company.
