Tomorrow Studios has bolstered its executive team with two new appointments, including upping Alissa Bachner to executive VP of development.

Bachner, previously senior VP of development, will add to her remit leadership of studio development deals. She will continue to develop and produce the company’s slate of TV dramas and comedies.

Before joining Tomorrow Studios in 2016, Bachner served as VP of TV development at Peter Berg’s Film 44, where she oversaw the development slate for its deals at FOX and HBO.

Tomorrow Studios has also appointed Josh Bratman as head of features. He will focus on building a slate for world-class filmmakers, actors and screenwriters to fully realize their visions.

Earlier in his career, Bratman was tapped by Michael De Luca to launch his eponymous Columbia Pictures-based production company. Bratman oversaw a mix of films, including Captain Phillips, The Sitter and 21. After spending over a decade at De Luca Productions, he landed his own first-look deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Most recently, he produced Boogie for Focus Features and executive produced The Contractor with Thunder Road and 30West.

“As we continue our acquisition and development of unparalleled IP, and our work with the leading creatives in Hollywood, we want to maximize our storytelling ability for all formats and produce each project for the format that best tells its story, including opportunities for feature run/streamer double play,” said Marty Adelstein, CEO and partner, and Becky Clements, president and partner. “Josh brings a keen eye for developing feature films to the team, and Alissa’s instincts for television are consistently unmatched. We are excited for the greatness to come from them.”
