The Witcher’s Lauren Schmidt Hissrich Pacts with Netflix

Netflix has entered into a new creative partnership with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, writer, producer and showrunner of The Witcher.

Hissrich is also the executive producer on the upcoming prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin as well as the anime The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which is set to debut on August 23. The multiyear deal will see Hissrich write and produce scripted shows and other projects for Netflix.
