The Walking Dead Season 8 Set for FOX Channels Worldwide

CANNES: The return of the hit series The Walking Dead will go out on FOX channels in more than 125 international markets following AMC’s season eight renewal.

The eighth season of The Walking Dead is due to debut in 2017 and will begin with the show’s 100th episode. The series is about to enter into its seventh season, with the premiere scheduled for Sunday, October 23, on AMC in the U.S., and nearly simultaneously on FOX’s international feeds around the globe.

“Less than a week from this year’s return, we are not only thrilled about season eight, but also confident that the surrounding anticipation, combined with our unrivaled footprint and fandom, will make this season’s premiere our best yet,” said Sharon Tal Yguado, the executive VP of scripted programming and original development at FOX Network Group.
