The Victim Lands on BritBox

BritBox will premiere The Victim, starring Kelly Macdonald, John Hannah and James Harkness, as its latest original this fall.

The four-parter is a Scotland-set thriller from STV Studios, co-funded and distributed internationally by Sky Vision. “In the content-driven world of streaming, it is imperative to find programming that is equal parts thrilling and thought-provoking,” said Soumya Sriraman, president of BritBox. “The Victim goes beyond your typical mystery and introduces a psychological element that will get audiences talking as they watch each episode.”

Recent acquisitions at the platform, which costs $6.99 a month, include There She Goes with David Tennant, The Heist At Hatton Garden starring Timothy Spall and Living The Dream featuring Philip Glenister, Kim Fields and Kevin Nash.
