The Pact Returning for Second Season

The Pact is set to return for a second season on Sundance Now and AMC+ on August 31, with new episodes dropping weekly.

From series creator Pete McTighe (A Discovery of Witches, Clickbait), season two tells a completely new story with a brand-new cast. As a social worker and her adult children try to move on after a tragic death in the family, a stranger who is the spitting image of their dead relative appears and throws their lives into disarray.

Rakie Ayola (Grace, Black Mirror)—who appeared in the first season but is playing a new character in this season—leads the cast, which also features Lloyd Everitt (The Sandman, Flack), Aaron Anthony (Emmerdale Farm, Behind Her Eyes), Mali Ann Rees (Keeping Faith, Mammoth) and Jordan Wilks (Lagging, The Devolution of the Species).

The new season is written by McTighe, with Joy Wilkinson writing on episodes four and five. Nicole Volavka directed the first three episodes, while Christiana Ebohon-Green directed the last three episodes. The show is produced by Cardiff-based Little Door Productions.
