Tanya Saracho Boards Starz’s Pour Vida

BEVERLY HILLS: The Mexican-born playwright and TV writer Tanya Saracho has signed on as showrunner for Pour Vida, which is currently in development at Starz.

Pour Vida follows twin sisters, Brook and Lyn Hernandez, who inherit an East LA building from their recently deceased mother and decide to open Pour Vida, a new wine and tapas bar. The Starz-owned series is inspired by a short story by Richard Villegas, Jr. (I [Heart] Babylon, La Música Romántica) and will be produced by Big Beach TV.

Saracho’s credits include such shows as How to Get Away with Murder, Looking and Girls.
