STARZ has acquired the rights to the historical drama Mary & George in the U.S. and Canada.
The seven-part series, starring Academy Award winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice) and Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue), is about a treacherous mother and son who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I.
The show is set to debut in North America as a STARZ original in 2024.
