Russia’s NTV is expanding its presence in the Middle East with the new availability of its period drama Aria of the Doomed, which has been dubbed in Arabic, on the regional VOD platform TenTime.

Keshet International (KI) has acquired the free-TV, pay-TV and internet broadcasting rights to three of NTV’s top-rated drama series, while Dori Media Group picked up rights to the Russian crime thriller Shepherd.

Coming off a successful fall season, NTV is presenting Brass Sun, a war drama starring Vladimir Mashkov as an army band conductor who leads the young soldiers to a dramatic finale amidst guerrilla warfare.

Filming on the Russian adaptation of The Good Wife has finished in Moscow, with 20 episodes set to launch on NTV.

CJ ENM has licensed the crime drama Hidden Identity to the Russian production company Dorama for a local remake that will air on NTV.
