STARZ has slated the debut of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a prequel to its hit series Outlander, for summer 2025.

Blood of My Blood introduces viewers to two new couples who fight against all odds to be together as their love stories unfold from the battlefields of World War I to the rugged Highlands of 18th-century Scotland. The cast features Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy, among others.

Additional cast members are Rory Alexander, Sally Messham, Séamus McLean Ross, Sam Retford, Sadhbh Malin, Conor MacNeill and Tony Curran.

Matthew B. Roberts serves as showrunner and executive producer on both Outlander and Blood My Blood. Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis and Jim Kohlberg are executive producers on both series as well. The new show is produced by Tall Ship Productions, No Fooling Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Sony Pictures Television. It will be available across all STARZ platforms in the U.S. and Canada.

Outlander is inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books, which have sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide.

The seventh season finale of Outlander has bowed on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. An eighth and final season has completed production.
