STARZ Casts Power: Origins Leads

Spence Moore and Charlie Mann have been cast in Lionsgate Television’s Power: Origins, the prequel series for the popular STARZ franchise.

The fourth spin-off in the long-running franchise will focus on the origin story of Ghost and Tommy. It follows Power Book II: Ghost, which ended its four-season run in 2024; Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which has filmed its upcoming fifth and final season; and Power Book IV: Force, the third and final season of which is slated to debut in November.

Sascha Penn will showrun and executive produce Power: Origins from a pilot co-written by himself and Courtney A. Kemp, who is also the executive producer, creator and showrunner of the original Power, through his production company End of Episode. The other executive producers are Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, through G-Unit Film and Television, Canton Entertainment’s Mark Canton, Chris Selak, Kevin Fox and Pete Chatmon.
