SPI International is set to co-produce three films and four TV series per year with movie director and producer Philippe Martinez (Harsh Times, Viktor).

Among the TV series productions that will launch through the partnership is Salvage Marines, which is based on a book by writer Sean-Michael Argo and follows soldiers played by Casper Van Dien and Peter Shinkoda as they embark on a militarized deep-space operation.

SPI International and Martinez will also team up on the blockbuster trilogy Mister Mayfair, starring Armand Assante, Steven Bauer and Ken Davitian. The movies center on former New York gangster Max Mitchell, whose new life in Mayfair, London is turned upside down with the arrival of his unknown granddaughter who comes with stories of his past.

Another film to come out of the pact will be The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud. Starring Scott Adkins and Tommy Flanagan, the sci-fi action-comedy is about a space cruiser that crash lands on a planet home to an intergalactic prison.

Loni Farhi, president of SPI International, said: “I couldn’t be more pleased to announce our partnership with director and producer Philippe Martinez. Together we are producing three movies and a brand-new TV series in 2019. SPI is investing in products and programs that will speak to and delight audiences worldwide.”
