The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, a new limited series starring and executive produced by Samuel L. Jackson, has landed at Apple TV+.

Produced by Apple Studios, the six-episode series is based on the novel by Walter Mosley, who is adapting his work for the screen. The show stars Jackson as Ptolemy Grey, a 91-year-old man forgotten by his family and friends, and even himself. As he nears sinking deeper into his dementia, he’s given the chance to briefly regain his memories—and uses his temporary lucidity to solve his nephew’s death and come to terms with his past.

David Levine and Eli Selden will executive produce The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey for Anonymous Content, along with Diane Houslin and Mosley.

The Life of Ptolemy Grey marks the second partnership for Apple TV+ and Samuel L. Jackson following the film The Banker. It also marks the latest collaboration between Apple and Anonymous Content.
