Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution (TCFTVD) has notched up deals for the procedural drama 9-1-1 in more than 100 countries, with the recent additions including Sky Living and NOW TV in the U.K. and Ireland.

In addition to the U.K. and Ireland, the series has been licensed by TCFTVD into Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Belgium, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Finland, Norway and Hungary. Further sales include Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, the Philippines, and Central and Latin America.

The series comes from Murphy (the American Horror Story franchise, Nip/Tuck), Brad Falchuk (the American Horror Story franchise, Nip/Tuck) and Tim Minear (Feud, the American Horror Story franchise). Since its U.S. debut on January 3, 9-1-1 has become the number one new scripted series on FOX with total viewers and adults 18 to 49.

“Developed by one of our industry’s strongest creative teams with an award-winning cast, 9-1-1 proves the audience demand for compelling procedural dramas remains incredibly high,” said Gina Brogi, the president of global distribution at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. “9-1-1 is yet another great example of how our global sales team can strategically take a solid U.S. procedural and position it to be an international hit in a highly competitive marketplace.”
