Russia’s NTV to Adapt Korean Crime Drama Hidden Identity

CJ ENM has licensed the crime drama Hidden Identity to the Russian production company Dorama for a local remake that will air on NTV.

The 16-episode series originally aired in 2015 on tvN in South Korea. Hidden Identity follows a secret investigation team with specialized detectives who have wounded pasts.

NTV has engaged in a number of successful foreign remakes. The Russian version of Shameless went on air in fall 2017, the adaptation of the Swedish-Danish detective series Broen premiered in spring 2018, and a local treatment of The Good Wife is coming to the channel soon.
