The RTVE catalog of dramas for the upcoming MIPCOM Online+ features HIT, set in a secondary school where things are getting out of hand.

A very special teacher—a mixture of a psychologist, schoolmaster and soldier—will have to deal with problems caused by troublesome students.

Meanwhile, The Department of Time “offers a new concept of storytelling by mixing fiction with historical reality,” says María Jesús Pérez Gómez, international sales director. The series follows a special patrol unit at the Department of Time, which has a key mission: to prevent the past from changing.

In I’m Alive, a police inspector dies while pursuing a serial killer and gets the opportunity to come back to life in the body of another officer. It combines elements of fantasy along with a detective drama.

“All of these are very original series that have engaged the audience,” Gómez adds.

Inés del Alma Mía (Inés of My Soul) is based on the novel of the same name by Isabel Allende. It stars Elena Rivera and Eduardo Noriega and tells the story of Inés Suárez, a young and daring woman from Extremadura who sets off for the New World in search of her husband. In America, she discovers the great love of her life, the famous Spanish conquistador Pedro de Valdivia. She has an unforgettable romance with Valdivia and embarks on an adventure that will make them the principal architects of the birth of the nation of Chile. It is co-produced by RTVE, Chilevisión and Boomerang TV.

La Otra Mirada (Another view) follows the early days of women’s struggle for equality in 1920s Spain. A group of courageous teachers strives to change ways of thinking of their pupils and those around them, to achieve a better world. D

aily dramas will also feature at this edition of MIPCOM Online+, including Servir y Proteger (To Serve and Protect) about everyday life in a police station in the outskirts of a major city, with particular emphasis on the human aspects.

RTVE will present a new production in Cannes, El Crédito (The Loan), a TV movie based on the play of the same name by Jordi Galcerán. It all begins with a man going to the bank to apply for a loan, but the plot gets complicated in hilarious ways.

From its catalog, highlights include Néboa, Malaka, Promesas de Arena (Promises of Sand) and La Caza. Monteperdido (The Hunt: Monteperdido), whose second season, La Caza. Tramuntana (The Hunt: Tramuntana) has just finished shooting. The daily drama series also include Acacias 38 and Seis Hermanas (Six Sisters) and the latest TV movies, including Lope Enamorado (Lope in Love), Asesinato en la Universidad (Murder at University) and El Enigma Verdaguer (The Verdaguer Enigma).
