Resurrection Ertugrul, distributed internationally by MISTCO, is set to launch in Malaysia, Colombia, Fiji and Latin America through an OTT platform.

Produced by Tekden Film for TRT, Resurrection Ertugrul, set in the 13th century, tells the story of the father of the Ottoman Empire’s founder, Osman. As Ertugrul struggles to find a home for his tribe and the woman he is in love with, the series conveys the land struggle with the Kayı tribes and Mongols, and the difficulty of establishing a state.

Resurrection Ertugrul is available in 190 countries in different languages via Netflix.

Additionally, the historical title Filinta will be made available in the MENA region through StarzPlay.

MISTCO’s Managing Director Aysegul Tuzun said: “Ertugrul is a good example that TRT produces timeless content for both library and current titles. We have interest all around the world and expanding in different territories.”
