Production Under Way on Tyler Perry TLC Series

SILVER SPRING: Production has begun on TLC’s first scripted series, Too Close to Home, written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry.

The eight-part drama is being shot in Atlanta at Tyler Perry Studios’s new lot. Premiering this summer, it focuses on Anna (Danielle Savre), a woman from a working-class background who finds success on the Washington, D.C., political scene. Guest stars include Heather Locklear and Matt Battaglia. Other leads include Brock O’Hurn, Kelly Sullivan, Brad Benedict and Brooke Anne Smith.
