Prime Video Confirms Second Season of Su Majestad

Su Majestad, produced by The Mediapro Studio’s 100 Balas and Sayak Producciones, has been renewed for a second season by Prime Video.

Su Majestad is created by Borja Cobeaga and Diego San José. Cobeaga will once again direct the new season, with Laura Fernández Espeso, Alejandro Flórez, Javier Méndez and San José executive producing for The Mediapro Studio, alongside Nahikari Ipiña and Borja Cobeaga for Sayaka Producciones.

Joining Cobeaga on the writing team is returning writer José Antonio Pérez Ledo, along with new additions Víctor García León, Borja Glez. Santaolalla and Diana Rojo.

Anna Castillo and Ernesto Alterio will reprise their leading roles as Queen Pilar and Guillermo, head of the Royal Household. Following her coronation, Queen Pilar (Castillo) has inherited not only the crown but also the deep unpopularity of her predecessor. In season two, Queen Pilar is determined to reform the monarchy’s image and sets out to modernize the institution with a more open, down-to-earth approach.
