Dark Winds Returning for Fourth Season

Dark Winds will be returning with a fourth season, consisting of eight hour-long episodes, on AMC and AMC+ on February 15.

Based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman, this season features the television directorial debut of star and executive producer Zahn McClarnon. Dark Winds was created by Graham Roland and is executive produced by Robert Redford and George R.R. Martin.

The series’ fourth season focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee and Manuelito from the safety of the Navajo Nation to 1970s Los Angeles.

John Wirth serves as showrunner. Dark Winds is executive produced by Redford, Martin, Roland, Wirth, McClarnon, Chris Eyre, Tina Elmo, Jim Chory, Thomas Brady, Max Hurwitz, Vince Gerardis and Anne Hillerman.
