The period drama Golden Swan has been added to the Onza Distribution catalog.

The series travels back to 1939 as Bára Veselá, a young thief, enters the Golden Swan luxury department store while escaping from the police. Following a series of accidents and mistakes, she becomes a saleswoman in the fashion department, and a new life opens up for her.

The series, created by Filip Bobinski, Jan Coufal and Petr Sizling from Dramedy Productions, is a production of Czech TV broadcaster TV NOVA. It has three seasons.

“We are glad to represent this successful period drama series, which we are sure will attract our international clients,” said Béatrice Nouh, head of sales at Onza Distribution. “It is a great example of the quality that can be found in productions from the region, and we are thrilled to start this new collaboration with TV NOVA.”

Klara Follova, creative producer at TV NOVA, added: “We are thrilled that the stories of our heroines and heroes will travel beyond the borders of our region. I hope that our dramatic story from Prague in 1939 will touch the hearts of many viewers around the world.”
