Onza Distribution Sets Slate for MIPCOM

From Onza Distribution, The Color of Love follows a young woman who uncovers her mother’s past and unexpectedly finds herself in a love story threatened by questions of inheritance and loyalty.

The Color of Love appeals strongly to the telenovela market but refreshes the genre with its African setting and a romance that unfolds within a family full of secrets, giving it a unique identity,” says Erika Gómez, head of sales.

A second season of Traffic Jam is available, continuing to interweave the stories of characters stuck in a traffic jam. “It is proving successful both as a ready-made and as a format, since its universal premise travels seamlessly around the world,” Gómez says.

Onza Distribution is also presenting Neuer, a procedural based on the novels by Václav Neuer. “Each episode is based on a real homicide case, bringing a strong true-crime element to the screen,” Gómez explains. “With its raw realism and authentic portrayal of police work, Neuer stands out as a bold and powerful drama that goes beyond solving crimes to explore the personal struggles of those who fight them.”

These titles “reflect our strategy of delivering content with both a strong local identity and global resonance,” Gómez notes.

“At Onza Distribution, our goal is to build bridges between markets by offering high-quality content with global potential, regardless of its origin,” she adds. And “our mission is to ensure that every title we represent has the potential to travel and connect with audiences around the world.”

“MIPCOM is the ideal stage to strengthen relationships with buyers and producers, explore new connections and format sales and continue expanding our catalog with stories that combine strong narratives, exotic settings and universal themes,” she says.
