New Taiwan-France Co-Pros & Talent Development Initiatives

Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and Centre National du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) have strengthened their partnership with two new co-produced projects by Taiwanese and French companies, Fly and Flight MH370, highlighted at Series Mania.

Fly is a spy drama series adapted from Taiwanese author Chang Kuo-Li’s original IP. A co-produced series is in the works by the French production company CinéFrance and Yoosonn Entertainment, scheduled for shooting between Taiwan and France.

Flight MH370 is based on the true events of the Malaysian Airlines flight disappearance. It plans to shoot in Taiwan. The project is directed by Gilles Bannier (Blue Lights) and led by the French production company Alef One, and there are discussions with Taiwanese co-production partners.

CNC also highlighted the upcoming 2024 TCCF Creative Content Conference, where the French Centre will head a high-level French delegation to Taiwan, fostering greater collaboration between professionals from Europe and Asia from the film and audiovisual industry.
