Netflix Sets Department Q Cast

Netflix’s upcoming crime series Department Q has revealed its cast, with Matthew Goode (The King’s Man, The Offer) at the helm.

Department Q is an adaptation of the novels of the same name by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen. In the series, Goode will star as Carl Morck, a detective whose life is turned upside down after a violent incident leaves his partner paralyzed and an officer dead.

Chloe Pirrie (Under the Banner of Heaven, The Queen’s Gambit), Alexej Manvelov (Jack Ryan, Top Dog), Kelly Macdonald (Line of Duty, Operation Mincemeat) and Leah Byrne (Call the Midwife, Nightsleeper) are also set to star.

The cast also includes Mark Bonnar (Napoleon, Guilt), Shirley Henderson (Harry Potter, Bridget Jones), Jamie Sives (Guilt, Crime) and Kate Dickie (Inside Man, The Witch).

The 8×60-minute Department Q is a Left Bank Pictures production, with episodes one and two directed by Scott Frank (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless).
