Netflix Gives Lucifer Fifth & Final Season

Netflix has renewed the series Lucifer for a fifth season, which will be the show’s last.

The series centers on the bored and unhappy Lord of Hell, who abandons his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. Lucifer originally aired on FOX, but was picked up by Netflix following its cancellation after three seasons.

The announcement of the renewal was made through the official Lucifer Twitter account: “thanks to the lucifans, #lucifer’s story will come to an end the way it should: the fifth and final season is coming to @netflix.”
