MTV’s Teen Wolf Set for Final Season

SAN DIEGO: MTV has announced that the upcoming sixth season of the popular action drama Teen Wolf will be its last.

The series will draw to a close with a 20-episode season, ending with its 100th episode in 2017. MTV made the announcement at San Diego Comic-Con, where it also revealed the upcoming launch of the new scripted series Sweet/Vicious, launching alongside Teen Wolf in November. The dramedy will focus on sexual assault and revenge on campus.

“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” said showrunner and executive producer Jeff Davis. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
