Movistar+ Original The Pier Gets World Premiere TV Screening at MIPCOM

Movistar+’s new original series The Pier, from creators Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato (Money Heist/La Casa de Papel), will have its world premiere TV screening at MIPCOM.

The eight-hour series is a Movistar+/Telefonica original in collaboration with Atresmedia Studios and Pina’s Vancouver Media. The Pier is currently shooting in Valencia and the surrounding Albufera National Park area through December. Álvaro Morte (La Casa de Papel) stars alongside Verónica Sánchez (Morocco—Love in Times of War, Gran Reserva) and Irene Arcos (Under Suspicion).

Pina is set to be in Cannes to promote the series, along with the lead cast members.
