MOPAR Studios & Newen Connect Tie Up

MOPAR Studios has inked a two-project deal with Newen Connect.

The deal includes co-development on MOPAR’s 9th Dynasty and The Walls Between Us. It grants Newen Studios the right to source co-production funding, as well as exclusive global distribution rights.

9th Dynasty deals with the abuse of supposedly secret data and the destruction it can cause to ordinary lives if misused. After a colleague is murdered, two young analysts—one English, one Chinese—seek to uncover the truth and expose an AI scandal with far-reaching consequences for themselves and the governments they represent.

The Walls Between Us is a triangular love story set across Europe over the last three decades of the 20th century. It follows the dangerous and compromised lives of the three former students, whose stories are inextricably entwined as they weave through the political turmoil of the Cold War, the ebb and flow of European terrorism and the combative politics of the Right and Left from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
