Max Slates Salem’s Lot Debut

Salem’s Lot, a film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1975 best-selling novel of the same name, is set to premiere on Max in October.

From writer, director and executive producer Gary Dauberman (It, It Chapter Two, Annabelle, The Nun), the film centers on an author who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book. He quickly discovers, however, that his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.

The film stars Lewis Pullman, Alfre Woodard, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbæk and John Benjamin Hickey.

Salem’s Lot comes from New Line Cinema and is produced by James Wan and Michael Clear for Atomic Monster; Roy Lee for Vertigo; and Mark Wolper.
